What this licence allows

Construct concrete pools or install prefabricated/fibreglass/spa-type or precast-concrete pools, including earthworks, pool plumbing, concrete finishing, pool-area fencing/gates, coping/paving/tiling and pool plant. Includes above-ground pools.
Also includes external wall/floor tiling within the pool area, including waterproofing and screed, but excludes wet areas and balconies.

Qualifications

Pathway 1

Complete CPC40820 Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Building including:
CPCSPS4003 Install swimming pool & spa subsoil drainage
CPCSPS4004 Install swimming pool & spa circulation systems & components
CPCSPS4005 Install prefabricated fibreglass swimming pools
CPCSPS4006 Apply sprayed concrete to shape and finish swimming pools and spas

Pathway 2

Hold a current supervisor registration endorsed SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION LTD TO INSTALLATION OF CONCRETE POOLS and complete CPC40820 including:
CPCSPS4003 Install swimming pool & spa subsoil drainage
CPCSPS4004 Install swimming pool & spa circulation systems & components
CPCSPS4005 Install prefabricated fibreglass swimming pools

Pathway 3

Hold a current supervisor registration endorsed SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION LTD TO INSTALLATION OF PREFABRICATED POOLS and complete CPC40820 including:
CPCSPS4003 Install swimming pool & spa subsoil drainage
CPCSPS4004 Install swimming pool & spa circulation systems & components
CPCSPS4006 Apply sprayed concrete to shape and finish swimming pools and spas

Pathway 4

Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record to be entitled to attend a building interview.

Pathway 5

Have held an equivalent registration within the 12 months before the application.
