What this licence allows
- Commercial additions to Classes 2-9: expanding floor area below, at the same level and/or above an existing building, or enclosing additional areas so the external dimensions/cubic content increase.
- The condition may be limited in height depending on experience.
Qualifications
Pathway 1
- Complete an Australian-based trade apprenticeship (for example Carpentry & Joinery or Bricklaying).
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least four years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 2
- Hold CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or a related higher-level qualification, without a trade qualification.
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least five years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 3
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least six years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 4
- Have held an equivalent registration within the 12 months before the application.
