What this licence allows
- Construction using natural or artificial stone laid unit by unit in mortar. The published scope includes internal/external stone walls, stone veneer or cladding, staircases, pointing, minor non-structural concreting supporting stonemasonry, related flashing, stone flagging and retaining walls that do not require Local Government Act approval.
Qualifications
Complete one of the following accepted qualification pathways:
- CPC32320 Certificate III in Stonemasonry.
- CPC32313 / CPC32311 / CPC32308 / BCF30600 Certificate III in Stonemasonry (Monumental/Installation).
- Qualification 15765 Certificate III in Stonemasonry, TAFE course #8032.
- Certificate III in Stonemasonry, TAFE course #2109.
- Certificate III in Stonemasonry - Trade, TAFE course #5138.
Experience
No separate minimum experience period is prescribed.
Individual applicants must meet the National Police Check requirement and cannot be issued the licence or certificate while still an apprentice or trainee.
