What this licence allows
- Fixing concrete, clay or metal roof tiles to exterior roof and fascia surfaces, including associated bedding/pointing, flashing, valleys, anti-ponding, sarking and battens, plus specified skylight, ventilator and protective-coating work that does not structurally alter the roof. Roof slates, shingles and shakes are excluded.
Qualifications
Complete one of the following accepted qualification pathways:
- CPC30820 Certificate III in Roof Tiling.
- CPC30812 / CPC30811 / CPC30808 / BCG30803 Certificate III in Roof Tiling.
- BCG30898 Certificate III in General Construction (Roof Tiling), TAFE course #7074.
- Qualification 5688 Certificate III in Roof Tiling - Trade, TAFE course #7948.
Experience
No separate minimum experience period is prescribed.
Individual applicants must meet the National Police Check requirement and cannot be issued the licence or certificate while still an apprentice or trainee.
