What this licence allows
- Installing glass, acrylic or similar material in prepared openings such as windows, door panels, screens, fences, balustrades and partitions. It also includes preparing/fabricating/installing framing supports for glazing and installing prefabricated or pre-assembled windows.
Qualifications
Complete one of the following accepted qualification pathways:
- MSF30422 / MSF30418 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing.
- MSF30413 / LMF30611 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (specialising in Glazing).
- LMF30602 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing.
- TAFE Qualification 5792 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing Trade, TAFE course #7958.
- Certificate III in Glass and Glazing, TAFE course #2135.
- Certificate III in Glass Flat, TAFE course #0109.
Experience
No separate minimum experience period is prescribed.
Individual applicants must meet the National Police Check requirement and cannot be issued the licence or certificate while still an apprentice or trainee.
