What this licence allows

  • Removing earth or rock to a predetermined level or excavation line to form a hole or trench for structural supports, building walls or floors, or preparation for structural landscaping work.

Qualifications

Complete one of the following accepted qualification pathways:

  • RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations.
  • RII30815 / RII30813 / RII30809 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations.
  • BCC30607 Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operation), TAFE course #17702.
  • BCC30603 Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operation), TAFE course #4885.
  • BCC30198 Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant), TAFE course #8085.
  • Qualification 2555 Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operator), TAFE course #7983.

Experience

No separate minimum experience period is prescribed.

Individual applicants must meet the National Police Check requirement and cannot be issued the licence or certificate while still an apprentice or trainee.
