What this licence allows
- For the principal/general building practitioner within the low-rise registration class.
- Low rise: a class 2, 3 or 9c building (or building containing such a part) with a maximum gross floor area of 2,000 m², excluding Type A or Type B construction.
Qualifications
Pathway 1: hold an endorsed contractor licence authorising general building work. Pathway 2: satisfy the qualification requirements for that licence; Pathway 2 carries the class 3/9c-only condition.
Experience
At least 3 years practical experience in the last 7 years, including at least 2 years in Australia, on class 1, 2, 3, 9a or 9c building work, including at least 1 year coordinating or supervising building work.
