- Sanitary drainage work under supervision of a licensee holding an Advanced Sanitary Drainer licence.

Qualifications - standard pathway
- Certificate II in Draining CPC20712 or CPC20720 issued within the previous 5 years.
- Former-licence Method 2 also applies to a person who held an Operative Drainer or Advanced Sanitary Drainer licence in the ACT within the previous 5 years, provided the previous licence was not affected by the disqualifying disciplinary conditions.
